The "S30001/S30003" is a hydrocarbon trap for LC/MS(/MS) that removes trace amounts of organic substances such as hydrocarbons and halocarbons from gas streams. The trap is filled with activated carbon, which adsorbs and removes organic compounds larger than methane.
